Animal Kingdom (sub. Zoology)

The animal kingdom, or Kingdom Animalia, includes a wide variety of living creatures from tiny insects to large mammals.

Animals are different from plants because they need to eats other organisms for energy. They can move around, reproduce, and respond quickly to their surroundings. Animals live in nearly every habitat on Earth, such as oceans, forests, and deserts. This kingdom includes simple animals like sponges and complex ones like birds and humans. Over millions of years, animals have evolved into many different species, each adapted to survive in its unique environment.
