Water Lilies (sub. Botany)

The water lily is the national flower of both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Water lilies are grouped in the family Nymphaeaceae and are found in many shapes and sizes. They have some characteristics in common, however: They grow in the wet mud beneath the water's surface and rise to bloom above. 

With this series of prints, we celebrate this delicate, yet sturdy plant.
