Little Screech Owl

€29

Birds have a high visibility in nature and a marvelous aesthetic appeal making them a beloved subject to study both by professonals and amateurs.

Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America.

These little owls are known for their doleful manners and their mournful cries that can go on for hours at a time. Although they sound like they are suffering their song is a sign of contentment and happiness.

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.

Design no. 6512
