Koizumi Kishio (sub. Japandi)
Koizumi Kishio was a Japanese printmaker in the Sosaku Hanga movement. He hand-carved and printed his works, capturing Tokyo’s changing cityscape.
His famous One Hundred Views of Great Tokyo serie reflects pre-war urban life. His prints blend tradition and modernity with striking historical detail. Koizumi’s art serves as a vivid chronicle of a city in transition.
Today, his works are treasured for their cultural and documentary value.
