Cacti can survive in the most extreme dry environments. They adapt to their surroundings in different manners to conserve water. Most species have lost their leaves and instead have thorns providing safety from herbivores and giving some shade.
Like humans once cacti gets a scratch or a scar it stays with them for ever. One may say that it will end up looking less appealing, we say it gives them personality. All our cacti has personality and charm, just choose your favorites.
