Højbro Plads
€29
Scenes from the beautiful city of Copenhagen in Denmark.
This scene depicts a very well-known public Square in central Copenhagen, known as Højbro Plads. It was at the time of this scene bustling with tradesfolk and their customers. It is still a very busy part of Copenhagen.
The photochrom image taken between 1890 and 1900.
We have adjusted colours and contrasts and removed some scratches and marks. But the beautifully gradient is a result of the original colouring process.
Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.
