Long Billed Curlew

Birds have a high visibility in nature and a marvelous aesthetic appeal making them a beloved subject to study both by professonals and amateurs.

Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America.

The long billed curlews spend their summers in western North America and during the winter they migrate to Mexico where they can be found on beaches and in wetlands.

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.

Design no. 6518
