Marble Church
Marmorkirken (The Marbel Church), with the formal name Frederiks Kirke (Frederik's Church) is well-known for its rococo architecture. It is situated in central Copenhagen, near Amalienborg Slot.
The church was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in 1740 and was intended to commemorate the 300 years jubilee of the first coronation of a member of the House of Oldenburg.
We have adjusted colours and contrasts and removed some scratches and marks. But the beautifully gradient is a result of the original colouring process.
