Many naturalists and painters have been drawing birds non better than the American ornithologist, naturalist and painter John James Audubon with his work The Birds of America.
Revered in ancient Aztec and Mayan civilizations, this proud bird was honored due to the belief that it was a manifestation of an ancient trickster god, Tezcatlipoca. They also taste delicious with gravy and mash.
